Does your dog love other dogs? Do you sometimes work long hours and feel your pup does not get the attention they deserve? Then our Doggie Daycare is the perfect fit for you!
Our dog daycare facility provides a safe environment that is constantly supervised so you can leave your dogs with us to ensure they get the attention and playtime they need while you’re away! We have separate sections for small dogs (up to 35lbs) and large dogs with 3,500sq/ft indoor and outdoor access for both areas. Outdoor access is limited during inclement weather. Our outdoor areas are specially designed using AstroTurf so you don’t have to worry about your pup going home muddy or dirty.
Your dog is assigned to one trainer for their entire stay to oversee their training needs.
Maryland Canine Community Center offers complete dog grooming services for the health and well-being of your four-legged friends! From oatmeal baths and nail trimming to ear cleaning and teeth brushing, we offer all the grooming services your dog will ever need. All grooming services are conveniently available as an addition to a daycare or training visit.
We offer basic obedience training for dogs of ALL ages, breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Sorry, we don’t train husbands or kids! Please contact us to schedule your free consultation; each dog is an individual and will require a custom plan specific to their temperament and training needs.
We offer the following programs at our Sit Means Sit Frederick & Rockville-Potomac training center:
These programs are typically completed 1 or 2 days per week for 3-5 consecutive weeks. You will drop your dog off in the morning to work with a trainer for the day, and come in the afternoon/early evening to pick them up.
We offer beginner and advanced level classes free of charge for anyone who has completed any level of our basic training. There are four classes per week in Frederick, and one per week in the Rockville-Potomac area.
Puppy classes at Sit Means Sit are designed for puppies 20 weeks and under (at start date of class– by the end of class they may be over 20 weeks).

We can't say enough good things about the Maryland Canine Community Center! Our dog Lilly absolutely loves it here and can't wait to get in the door each time we take her. The staff members are very kind, professional, and genuinely care about all of the dogs well-being. We love seeing the report cards each time she visits, including pictures of her day. She comes home tired and happy (she's a puppy with a lot of energy). Highly recommended!
Pippa loves attending daycare at Maryland Canine Community Center! On days she's scheduled to go she's excited from the time she gets up and comes home tired and satisfied. She loves seeing her friends among the other regulars as well as all of the staff. Additionally, getting her report card at the end of the day puts a smile on our faces. MCCC allows us to get Pippa the socialization she needs in addition to lots of exercise, we look forward to many more years of attendance.
We have really enjoyed sending our dogs to doggie daycare. They get so excited when we arrive at the facility. It has been a great way for them to expend some energy as well as play and socialize with other dogs. The staff is friendly and professional. We look forward to the great pictures and daily report cards they send us and tired happy pups! Overall it was been a great experience at MCCC!
You have found a GREAT daycare when your dogs wake up in the morning and know that it is daycare day! Benny and Bailey absolutely love going to daycare and seeing the staff and pups. Everyone is great to work with and my mind is at ease knowing my dogs are getting energy out while being socialized with other dogs in a well-controlled environment. I cannot say enough good things about the care my pups receive at Maryland Canine Community Center’s Daycare!
